Friends of Tibet in Athens are holding a charity dinner to raise funds for the building of a much needed Clinic in Tibet.

Together with Stefanidis Finest Foods we have organized a night of Tibetan food and art which will take place on the 19^th of December from 20:00 onwards at Stefanidis Finest Foods Bistro in Kifissia (13 Agiou Demetrious Square., tel. 210 8082191)

Come and enjoy authentic Tibetan courses complemented with wonderful Tibetan Tea followed by a sweet treat.

There will be more than just dinner on offer though …. You will be given the chance to support this great cause further by browsing through Tibetan artefacts, cds and other goodies

and picking your Christmas presents or guilt-free treats for yourself!!

Our beautiful singer from AMDO,LHAMO DOLMA, has prepared an anthology of lovesongs of Northeastern Tibet. It is a double CD she wants to make for preserving a piece of her Cultural Heritage.

Being born in a family of musicians she feels it is her duty to keep this tradition alive for the next generations.

Her grandmother and mother are still singing these lovesongs during festivities in Tibet .
